Chloë Rainwater Palmer
Chloë Rainwater's earliest memory of playing with makeup dates back to when she was 7-years-old. "I remember using my mom's liquid eyeliner to draw fake beauty marks on myself," says Chloë, "it was Estée Lauder."
Chloë began her career as a makeup artist in 2009. Chloë has since pursued her passion for makeup artistry, working for high-profile beauty retailers such as Sephora and then MAC Cosmetics at their San Francisco flagship locations. While honing her craft in the retail environment, Chloë established and grew her makeup business, Sfumato (sfu-mä-tō). Under Sfumato, Chloë provides professional makeup services for photo shoots, fashion shows, corporate events, weddings, and other special occasions. She also specializes in both private and group makeup lessons.
Sfumato, a painting technique in which harsh lines are blurred as colors blend softly into one another, is a major influence in Chloë's creative technique. Chloë prides herself in her attention to detail and blending. In addition to her artistry skills, she also takes pride in her go-getter work ethic, positive attitude, polished professionalism, and relentless ambition.
